Foraging: Edible and Medicinal plants of Northern New Mexico

During this plantwalk we will introduce you to plant family identification, foraging tricks, safety and wild harvesting ethics. We will find common edible and medicinal plants native to this region, that are prevelant throughout the mountain west as well as poisonous look-alikes. We will also share information about nutrition, herbalism, mushrooms and wild water. Class will be followed with a wild snack!

It is advised to bring a day pack with your lunch and water, note pad and pen, pocket knife and small paper bags for gathering.

Please come prepared for inclement weather!
